Kathy McGrane is a Technology of Participation Qualified Trainer. Currently she serves as a trainer for the ToP Virtual Focused Conversation course.
Kathy’s welcoming personality greets you as she gives great attention to detail and delivers clear directions to participants. She asks questions and listens to the answers paying attention to both detail and the BIG picture. She has been instrumental in facilitation development – both virtual and face-to-face – locally, nationally and internationally. McGrane is an active member of: the ToP® Network, International Association of Facilitators, Institute of Cultural Affairs – USA and International, Global Facilitation Service Corp, Minnesota Facilitators Network as well as the local Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) field office MNToP®.
Kathy has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in business. She also provides facilitation services in the great outdoors, delivering the ultimate experiential team building and leadership development sessions. Her skills help develop individual growth and group awareness. Teams build trust, self-esteem and strategies to expand comfort zones, and reduce risk aversion. Leadership skills are further enhanced with the increasing collective commitments, group support and creativity that occur.
In 2002 Kathy was a Co-facilitator for the Rebuilding of Lower Manhattan event called “Listening to the City” Remember and Rebuild, this was a Civic Alliance to Rebuild Downtown New York. Currently McGrane is focused on virtual facilitation and training and is one of only four qualified ToP Virtual Facilitation Online course trainers.
